I LOVE POKE STORY
I Love Poke Hawaiian Food Festival & Competition has been a success over the last 11+ years for one reason. This event was born from a heart, withthe sole desire to satisfy the cravings of our friends and family.
From day one we have organized this event in the same spirit as how we put together any family style get-together. We invite chef friends who share ourlove for island food & culture and this common enthusiasm excites chefs to create the best dishes they can. (Like a potluck, where aunties and unclestry to one up each other!) Let’s join together at Bali Hai Restaurant on Shelter Island, one of San Diego’s most iconic family owned restaurants andcelebrate where we have truly grown into a food festival family over the years!
Bali Hai is not only just the venue for I Love Poke, but a partner in the local Hawaiian food community for over 6 decades. The perfect team to continueto “deepen” the I Love Poke experience year after year!
